Philadelphia Flyers forward Joel Farabee found the back of the net to lift his team over the Montreal Canadiens in Wednesday's 2-1 victory in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference first round series. The 20-year-old appeared in two round-robin games for the Flyers, recording a goal and an assist in his multi-point performance against the Lightning. Farabee's goal came less than a minute after defenseman Shea Weber tied the game up on a power-play goal in the second period. Both goaltenders posted quality performances, as Flyers netminder Carter Hart stopped 27-of-28 shots on goal, while Carey Price made 29 saves to keep the Canadiens in the contest. Game 2 of their first round series will take place on Friday afternoon, with both teams looking to carry the momentum of their previous games into the remainder of the best-of-seven series.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
