The New York Mets have signed Boston College outfielder Joe Suozzi to a minor league contract that includes a $20,000 signing bonus. This past year as a senior in a season shortened to 15 games due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Suozzi hit .414 with 14 runs and 16 RBI. During his junior year, Suozzi hit .282 with a .432 slugging percentage and a .363 on-base percentage and was named to the ACC All-Tournament team.
