Jo Adell Leaves Game After Crashing Into Wall
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell exited Saturday's game in the third inning after slamming into the outfield wall. The outfield prospect complained of discomfort but no long-term injuries were discovered after he left the game. Adell is just 2-for-11 (.182) this spring after struggling at the major league level in 2020. He hit .161 with a massive 42% strikeout rate in 38 big league games. Adell is expected to open the 2021 season at the club's alternate training site before transitioning to triple-A when the season starts. Despite his struggles, Adell has a high ceiling and is ranked by Rotoballer as the eighth-best outfield prospect for 2021 redraft leagues.
