Jo Adell Leaves Game After Crashing Into Wall
Jo Adell exited Saturday's game in the third inning after slamming into the outfield wall. The outfield prospect complained of discomfort but no long-term injuries were discovered after he left the game. Adell is just 2-for-11 (.182) this spring after struggling at the major league level in 2020. He hit .161 with a massive 42% strikeout rate in 38 big league games. Adell is expected to open the 2021 season at the club's alternate training site before transitioning to triple-A when the season starts. Despite his struggles, Adell has a high ceiling and is ranked by Rotoballer as the eighth-best outfield prospect for 2021 redraft leagues.
