St. Louis Cardinals infield prospect JJ Wetherholt recently made his professional debut at Single-A Palm Beach. Through his first two games, the 21-year-old has logged one hit and a walk. Wetherholt was selected with the seventh-overall selection in this year's draft out of West Virginia. The infielder was considered one of the best pure hitters in the draft class as he hit for an excellent .331 AVG with eight long balls. In addition, many scouts credited his speed on the basepaths prior to the draft. Wetherholt should slot in near the top of the Cardinals system in the next MLB.com rankings update and should be one of the first names taken in first-year player drafts in dynasty leagues.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerRead More News
