Jets Put Le'Veon Bell On Injured Reserve
4 years agoThe New York Jets placed running back Le'Veon Bell (hamstring) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday, according to a source. Bell will be eligible to return in three weeks. The 28-year-old's disappointing two-year run with Gang Green continues, but hopefully he'll be able to return in three weeks as the team's lead back. Veteran Frank Gore should share the backfield duties with Josh Adams moving forward, as rookie La'Mical Perine nursing an ankle injury of his own. Gore will be more of an RB4/flex in standard-scoring leagues in Week 2 against a tough 49ers Defense, while Adams is worth a waiver pickup in deeper PPR leagues.
