Jerry Jeudy's Week 14 Marred By Missed Opportunities
1 year agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy's Week 14 performance will mainly be remembered by what could have been. Jeudy couldn't get his second foot in bounds on a would-be touchdown pass from quarterback Russell Wilson in the second half, and he also had a ball go through his hands on a pass attempt deep down the field. All in all, the 24-year-old first-rounder finished with one of his worst games in what has been a frustrating season in the 24-7 win over the Los Angeles Chargers by catching two of a team-high six targets for an uninspiring 16 yards. Jeudy still has only one touchdown reception in 2023 and now has 16 or fewer receiving yards in two of the last three games. It's been all about Courtland Sutton and not Jeudy in Denver's passing game this year, making him a hard-to-sell WR4/flex going forward.
