Jeremy Pena Hits Two-Run Homer on Tuesday
Jeremy Pena had a productive night in his team's 11-1 win over the Athletics on Tuesday. Pena went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer and two runs. The Houston infielder pushed his team's lead to 4-0 with his two-run shot in the second inning, giving him seven homers on the season. Pena is off to an excellent start in 2025, hitting .298 with 27 runs, 27 RBI, and six steals across 205 at-bats while serving as Houston's leadoff hitter. He has been slumping a bit at the plate of late, with a .222 batting average over his past seven contests, so he will hope his big outing on Tuesday gets him going again.
