6 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back JD McKissic returned to the practice field this week for the first time this season, but head coach Pete Carroll said he won't be active for the game against Carolina. Carroll told reporters that McKissic looked great in practice, but it wasn't a smart thing to try to push him into playing his first week back. The fact that Seattle has quite a logjam at running back right now with Chris Carson, Mike Davis, Rashaad Penny, and possibly CJ Prosise also probably helped push the coaching staff away from rushing McKissic back. It's unclear exactly where McKissic could fit into the rotation right now anyway.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
