Jauan Jennings Ruled Out For Week 7
2 months agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (hip) has been ruled out for Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a hip injury, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. Jennings was unable to practice at all this week and could also be in danger of missing next week's contest against the Dallas Cowboys on Oct. 27. Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel (wrist) will operate as the team's top two receivers, as usual, but with Jennings sidelined, look for rookies Ricky Pearsall (chest) and Jacob Cowing, Chris Conley and Ronnie Bell to battle it out for the WR3 role as the Niners look for revenge against KC in a Super Bowl rematch. None of those names are worth risking in a flex spot in fantasy lineups this weekend. If anything, Jenning's absence will raise the ceiling and floor of Aiyuk, Samuel and tight end George Kittle. In deep leagues or DFS, Conley might be the best flex gamble.
