Jasson Dominguez Exits Early on Sunday
Jasson Dominguez (thumb) exited early during their victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday evening. The former top prospect left the game with a left thumb contusion he suffered in the fifth inning after sliding into second base. Before exiting, Dominguez went 1-for-2 with an RBI, a run, and a walk. Fantasy managers should monitor his status leading up to their next game on Tuesday evening against the Cleveland Guardians. Over his last 10 contests, the switch-hitting outfielder has been quite productive at the plate, posting a .276/.361/.414 slash line with a double, a home run, and a 10:5 K:BB. If Dominguez were to miss time, fantasy managers should expect Cody Bellinger to see the vast majority of starts in left field with Pablo Reyes serving as the No. 2 option.
