Jasson Dominguez Exits Early on Sunday
New York Yankees outfielder Jasson Dominguez (thumb) exited early during their victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday evening. The former top prospect left the game with a left thumb contusion he suffered in the fifth inning after sliding into second base. Before exiting, Dominguez went 1-for-2 with an RBI, a run, and a walk. Fantasy managers should monitor his status leading up to their next game on Tuesday evening against the Cleveland Guardians. Over his last 10 contests, the switch-hitting outfielder has been quite productive at the plate, posting a .276/.361/.414 slash line with a double, a home run, and a 10:5 K:BB. If Dominguez were to miss time, fantasy managers should expect Cody Bellinger to see the vast majority of starts in left field with Pablo Reyes serving as the No. 2 option.
