Dallas Stars center Jason Spezza reached a career milestone on Tuesday, playing in his 1,000th career NHL game as the Stars defeated the Montreal Canadiens by the score of 4-1. While the veteran didn't manage to figure into the scoring, he played a season-high 18:44 and posted two shots on net. Following a down year in 2017-2018 (26 points in 78 games), the 35-year-old has gotten off to a nice start to the campaign with eight points (two goals, six assists) in first 11 contests. While Spezza's offensive production has dipped over the past couple of seasons, the talented center has had an incredible run as displayed by his 896 points in his 1000 career games. He'll look to get another game under his belt as the Stars take on the Maple Leafs on Thursday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
