Jason Day has the short game to be competitive at Innisbrook. After a missed cut at The Players in very testing and lopsided conditions, that result should not be taken too seriously. Compared to TPC Sawgrass with less water around Innisbrook, it should not punish errant approach shots as severely. Day's weakness is his iron play, as he's gained strokes on approach in only one event this season. His short game has been a reliable crutch that will need to come to his aid once more. If Day can find form with his irons, the rest of his game is anxious to help him contend for a win.--Byron Lindeque
