Jarrett Stidham Throws For 130 Yards In Preseason Contest
1 year agoDenver Broncos quarterback Jarrett Stidham took over for Russell Wilson early in Saturday's preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers in an eventual 21-20 loss on the road. Stidham finished the team's second preseason game 12-for-17 passing for 130 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. He was sacked twice for a loss of 10 yards. The 27-year-old was signed to a two-year, $10 million contract in the offseason to serve as Wilson's backup for the 2023 season. Stidham started the final two games in 2022 for the Las Vegas Raiders when they benched Derek Carr, and he looked solid, going 45-for-70 for 584 yards, four TDs and three picks. Stidham would only have low-end QB2 value in superflex leagues if he ends up starting games due to an injury to Wilson this year.
