Jared Walsh Looks To Build Off Debut
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Jared Walsh went 3-for-5 in his major league debut on Wednesday. The Angels 20th-ranked prospect brings power to the table but will have to settle for three singles in his first game in the pro's. Walsh will get a chance to show what he can do after the team optioned veteran Justin Bour to Triple-A. The left-handed rookie will compete with Albert Pujols for plate appearances but should rack up some at-bats this weekend. It is too early to pounce on Walsh right now in most fantasy formats and his value resides in dynasty and keeper leagues only.
