2 years agoArizona Cardinals running back James Conner (ankle) was seen at Thursday's practice after he didn't practice on Wednesday. The Cardinals are calling Conner day-to-day, and his return to practice on Thursday is good news that he'll have a chance to play in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams. He's the team's clear lead back when healthy, but if he's unable to play this weekend, Darrel Williams and Eno Benjamin figure to split the backfield work, with Benjamin mostly working on passing downs. Conner ended up playing only 18 percent of the snaps in the Week 2 overtime win over the Las Vegas Raiders before getting injured.
