Jalen Brunson Bags 29 Points With Five Triples
Jalen Brunson had a 29-point outing as the team opened the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Boston Celtics with a 108-105 overtime win on Monday night. His efficiency was slightly down, as Brunson finished 9-for-23 from the field, but he shot an impressive 5-for-9 from three-point range. Three of Brunson's three-point makes came in the fourth quarter, which the Knicks won by nine points to send the game into overtime. Although Brunson ended the extra frame without scoring, he would have been pleased with his night's work. The star guard rounded out his line with four rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Boston must do a better job of limiting Brunson's impact to avoid going down 2-0 in the series on home court Wednesday night.
