Jakobi Meyers' Shoulder Injury Isn't Serious
2 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (shoulder) said his right shoulder was "sore" after the Thursday night loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Thanksgiving, but he also said "I'll be alright." He was injured on the first offensive play of the game, but he returned in the second half after undergoing X-rays in the locker room. When Meyers returned, he was on a limited snap count and finished the contest with three catches for 63 yards. It appeared that he aggravated his shoulder in the second half, but Meyers is confident he'll be fine moving forward. Fantasy managers should be happy that Meyers even returned to this contest to give them any production at all, but it sounds as though he should be fine to play next Thursday against the Buffalo Bills, barring any setbacks.
