Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Jake Junis was back at it again on Sunday as he steamrolled the Detroit lineup. Junis struck out eight over seven innings, and he allowed two earned runs on eight hits. Junis has now posted a quality start in five of his seven starts this year, but he continues to live on the knife’s edge. Junis’ success is almost entirely riding on the fact that he has stranded an incredible 94.1 percent of runners that have reached base against him. That’s the third highest strand rate in MLB so far and that will be undergoing a correction sometime in the near future. Owners who have Junis should be exploring trade options for him right away.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
