St. Louis Blues goaltender Jake Allen played well in his team's 3-2 shootout loss to the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday, turning aside 34 of 36 shots against in the contest. However, Allen wasn't able to lead his team to a victory as he gave up goals on both shootout attempts but he sure played well enough to give his team an opportunity to close out the game. His performance improved his overall numbers to a 3.16 goals-against average and a .899 save percentage in 19 starts. He'll look to get back into the win column when the Blues take on the Jets on Friday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
