Jahan Dotson Doing Individual Drills
2 years agoWashington Commanders rookie wide receiver Jahan Dotson (hamstring) is doing individual drills during the media viewing portion of practice on Wednesday. Dotson has missed the last two weeks with a hamstring injury, and it remains to be seen if he'll be able to play this weekend against the Green Bay Packers. Even if he does, the 22-year-old will be working with backup quarterback Taylor Heinicke now that Carson Wentz (finger) is out four to six weeks with a fractured finger on his throwing hand. The 22-year-old has looked impressive in his first four games, catching 12 of 22 targets for 152 yards and four touchdowns, but he might not have the same chemistry with Heinicke when he returns to the field. Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel will remain the top two receivers if Dotson misses another game, with Cam Sims and Dyami Brown getting more looks behind them.
