The words “no-decision” and “Jacob deGrom” have almost become synonymous in 2018, but alas, the New York Mets’ bullpen simply can’t get it done for their ace starting pitcher. Against the Miami Marlins on Wednesday, deGrom was incredible once again, throwing scoreless seven innings while allowing only four hits and two walks with eight strikeouts. He left the game with a 1-0 lead that was blown in the ninth inning. deGrom has allowed exactly one earned run over his last six starts (two of which were shortened, but still); a incredible total of 33 1/3 innings pitched. He has 37 strikeouts over that span compared to eight walks. deGrom is simply amazing, and needs to be in your lineup regardless of matchup.--John Smith
