J.D. Davis is Sidelined on Sunday
5 years agoNew York Mets outfielder J.D. Davis (calf) is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Royals. Davis is battling right calf tightness and will miss his second game in a row. It sounds like the injury is day-to-day, so he shouldn't land on the injured list. Aaron Altherr will play left field and bat eighth versus righty Glenn Sparkman. Altherr is not a useful fantasy option right now, so hopefully Davis is back soon.
