6/8:Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher J.A. Happ didn’t come through the way most expected him to in his last start against the Detroit Tigers on June 2, but it’s a pretty good bet he’s in for a nice rebound effort against the Baltimore Orioles on Friday. The Orioles offense continues to rank near the very bottom of the American League, and outside of one horrendous start on May 10, Happ has been pretty good. Happ has picked up quality starts in three of his last four outings, allowing two runs or fewer in half of them while striking out anywhere between five and 10 hitters (he struck out eight twice). Fire up Happ with confidence in this one.--John Smith
