Thomas White Promoted to Triple-A Jacksonville
Thomas White has been promoted to Triple-A Jacksonville. The Marlins' top-ranked prospect (MLB No. 21) began the year at High-A, then pitched his way to Double-A, where he dominated across 10 starts. In all, the southpaw posted a 2.13 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and an elite 25.9 percent K-BB% in 19 starts (80 1/3 innings pitched). The 6-foot-5 hurler will get a chance to test his mettle for a couple of starts at Triple-A over the remainder of the season, and he should make a push for a major league debut next year despite his age. If available, the talented 20-year-old should be stashed away in dynasty formats.
