St. Louis Blues forward Ivan Barbashev has been suspended for Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals after an illegal check to the head against Boston Bruins forward Marcus Johansson in Game 5. Barbashev has managed just six points across 24 games so far in the playoffs, but he has managed 80 hits, so his sandpaper and grit will be missed by the Blues in their potential championship-clinching game on Saturday night. Right wing Robert Thomas (wrist) might be well enough to fill in, but forwards Robby Fabbri or Jordan Nolan could draw in if Thomas is still not ready to go.--Daniel Dobish
