2 years agoNew York Yankees infielder Isiah Kiner-Falefa is starting at shortstop and is hitting eighth for Game 1 of the American League Championship Series on Wednesday against the Houston Astros and right-hander Justin Verlander. Kiner-Falefa was on the bench for the final two games of the AL Division Series against the Cleveland Guardians in favor of Oswaldo Cabrera, but he's back in there to begin the ALCS. The 27-year-old hasn't been bad in his first four career playoff games for the Yanks, going 3-for-11 (.273) with a run scored, a walk, a strikeout and a stolen base.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
