The Chicago Cubs have activated outfielder Ian Happ (ribs) from the 10-day injured list on Saturday. Happ has been sidelined with bruised ribs since colliding with teammate Nico Hoerner on May 4. The outfielder has been off to a slow start, but should be back in the lineup with an everyday role. The return of Happ could lead to less time for infielder Matt Duffy. Infielder Ildemaro Vargas has been designated for assignment to make room for Happ. Happ will bat sixth in his return versus Jose Urena on Saturday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
