Hideki Matsuyama failed to find his best form at last week’s PGA Championship. Matsuyama could not rely on his long game all week, and over the four days, he lost strokes to the field tee to green. However, Matsuyama excelled on Bellerive’s slow greens. Over the four days, Matsuyama gained over five strokes on the greens over the field. His T35 finish is his worst performance at the PGA Championship since 2015. Matsuyama will be in action this week at the Wyndham Championship.--Gianni
