Harry Ford On Fire in May at Triple-A
Harry Ford went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored on Tuesday for Triple-A Tacoma. The 2021 first-round draft pick came into May hitting .209 (14-for-67) with two extra-base hits (one 2B, one HR), but has caught fire this month, collecting 11 multi-hit performances in 18 games and hitting .394 (28-for-71) with nine extra-base hits (six 2B, three HR). Seattle's fifth-ranked prospect has been a model of consistency at a grueling position, playing in at least 104 games in each of the last three seasons as he has methodically climbed the minor league ladder. In his first season at Triple-A, he's slashing .304/.429/.442 with four home runs and three stolen bases. The 22-year-old stole 35 bags in 2024, which is an attractive quality in a future fantasy catcher, and with a good shot to debut in 2025, those skills could be put on display later in the year, so he could become a top prospect stash soon.
