Giants Calling Up Top Prospect Kyle Harrison
1 year agoThe San Francisco Giants are calling up their top prospect, left-hander Kyle Harrison, from Triple-A Sacramento, and he's expected to make his major-league debut on Tuesday in Philadelphia against the Phillies, according to sources familiar with the situation. Harrison is the team's top prospect, per MLB Pipeline, and is regarded as their best pitching prospect since Madison Bumgarner. Harrison warrants an immediate addition in most fantasy leagues if he sticks in San Fran's starting rotation the rest of the way as they look to make the postseason. In 20 starts (65 2/3 innings) at Sacramento, Harrison had a 4.66 ERA, 1.52 WHIP, 48 walks and 105 strikeouts. He has the ability to miss bats consistently, hence the high upside.
