Gerrit Cole Could Return On Tuesday
New York Yankees starting pitcher Gerrit Cole (hamstring) could return to the starting rotation on Tuesday, manager Aaron Boone told the press on Friday. The 31-year-old ace exited last week's 5-1 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays with left hamstring tightness but has since resumed some baseball activities. Cole has pitched to a 14-7 record this season with a 2.78 ERA and a 217:34 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 158 2/3 innings. Fantasy managers should stay on the lookout for Cole to return to New York's rotation.
