Gerardo Parra Picks Up Two Hits
6 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Gerardo Parra got a rare start on Friday and took full advantage. Parra drilled a pair of singles in his four at-bats, accounting for a third of the team's total hits in the game. Parra's performance definitely supported manager Bud Black's decision to start him over David Dahl, but it's unlikely Parra will see anything more than a pinch-hit opportunity in Game 3 of the series. Parra has hit .309 against righties this season and just .202 against lefties. With the Brewers slated to start lefty Wade Miley on Sunday, Parra will likely be headed back to the bench.
