Gavin Stone, Bobby Miller To Remain In The Rotation
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts announced after Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Atlanta Braves that right-handers Gavin Stone and Bobby Miller will stay in the rotation for the time being, according to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register. The former has pitched in two games so far this season, posting an ugly 10.13 ERA, 2.50 WHIP, 4.7% strikeout rate, and 16.3% walk rate over eight innings, while the latter made his Major League debut on Tuesday, going five frames and allowing one run on four hits and a walk while striking out five. The club has been hindered by injuries, losing Julio Urias (hamstring) and Dustin May (forearm) recently to injury, and is still without Walker Buehler (elbow) for a while. Fantasy managers looking to target a starting pitcher should lean towards Miller, who is rated as the club's second-best prospect according to MLB.com, and should hold off on Miller until he shows some positive results.
