Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Frederik Andersen (blood clots) was taken off injured reserve on Thursday. Andersen has been dealing with blood clots since November, but after practicing for several weeks he is ready to return to action. His return complicates things for fantasy managers, as he is likely to be eased into action and could split work with Pyotr Kochetkov. It will be hard to determine which of the two will get more starts, which could make for a frustrating situation. Both should be rostered for now, as Carolina is a top-tier defensive team and both goalies will have a good chance at grabbing a win whenever they start.
