Francisco Lindor Back In Sunday's Lineup
1 year agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor is back at shortstop and is batting in the three-hole on Sunday against left-hander Matthew Liberatore and the St. Louis Cardinals. Lindor was out on Saturday after his wife gave birth to their daughter. Hopefully that sparks Lindor offensively, as he's hitting just .211 (56-for-265) on the season, although he has contributed 17 doubles, 12 home runs, 44 RBI, six stolen bases and 38 runs scored through 70 games (299 plate appearances). The four-time All-Star has really struggled in June, though, going 7-for-45 (.156) with two doubles, two homers, four RBI and two stolen bases in 14 games.
