DJ Lagway Commits to Baylor
Former Florida quarterback DJ Lagway has committed to Baylor following a visit with the program, according to On3Sports. Lagway was a five-star recruit in the Class of 2024, rated by many as the top high school QB. However, the Texas native never put it all together as a Gator. Lagway considered Florida State and Virginia as potential destinations after leaving Florida, but he's headed to play for Baylor, where his father played. In 24 career games, Lagway has completed 62% of his passes for 4,179 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 23 interceptions. He will now work with Baylor quarterback coach and offensive coordinator Jake Spavital, who has coached Geno Smith, Johnny Manziel, Will Grier, and Sawyer Robertson to prolific seasons during his career.
