Minnesota Twins right-hander Fernando Romero made his MLB debut on Thursday, holding the Toronto Blue Jays scoreless over 5 2/3 innings of work. Romero allowed four hits while walking three and striking out five. Romero was called up earlier in the week and took the spot in the starting rotation which was previously held by Phil Hughes. Romero, the Twins top pitching prospect and No. 2 overall for the team, made four appearances in Triple-A in 2018, posting a 2.75 ERA, and he has a plus fastball that hit 98 mph in his debut on Wednesday. He is on the radar as a streamer in deeper fantasy leagues.--Matt T - RotoBaller
