Falcons To Have Second Interviews With Bobby Slowik, Aaron Glenn
11 months agoThe Atlanta Falcons will have second head-coaching interviews with Houston Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik and Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, according to a source. Slowik impressed in his first year as a play-caller in 2023, mostly thanks to his work with potential Rookie of the Year C.J. Stroud. Slowik will also have an in-person interview with the Washington Commanders on Tuesday night. In addition to Glenn, the Falcons want to interview Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson for a second time. The interviews with Glenn and Johnson can't take place until next week because the Lions are preparing to face the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship this Sunday. It was initially believed that the Falcons were leaning towards hiring former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, but they have since brought in a multitude of candidates for second interviews.
