4 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons have received calls from teams inquiring about possible trades for All-Pro wide receiver Julio Jones, according to sources. A trade cannot happen for salary cap reasons before June 1, but teams know the Falcons tough cap situation and are calling to gauge interest. Owner Arthur Blank said earlier this offseason that he expected Jones to remain with the team in 2021, but he also said he wouldn't get in the way if the new brass wanted to trade the veteran pass-catcher. The seven-time Pro Bowler is getting up there in age and has dealt with his fair share of nagging injuries in recent seasons that have caused him to miss time, but Jones remains a high-end WR1 talent when he's healthy and on the field.
