Ezekiel Elliott Should See 20-25 Snaps
Ezekiel Elliott is expected to play 20 to 25 snaps in the regular season opener on Sunday against the Giants. Previous reports suggested Elliott could see a full workload in Week 1 after the team was impressed with his conditioning after a contract holdout that lasted through training camp and the preseason. We won't know exactly how the Cowboys use their leading man until the game plays out, but fantasy owners shouldn't be benching Zeke to start the year. He has a much lower ceiling than normal if he's eased in, but the Cowboys could also completely scrap those plans. Rookie Tony Pollard is much too risky to use in fantasy as a standalone option.
