Ezekiel Elliott Dealing With Ankle And Knee Issues
Ezekiel Elliott (ankle, knee) is dealing with an ankle injury and bursitis in his knee, but head coach Jason Garrett said the team is "optimistic he'll practice and play this week." The star running back played 53 of 69 offensive snaps in Week 4 with 25 carries for 152 yards and four catches for 88 yards. He has played in 220 of 247 offensive snaps through four weeks. Elliott remains an elite RB1 for fantasy owners, but this is something worth keeping an eye on. If he ever has to miss a game, Rod Smith would take over as the lead back.
