Minnesota Twins right-hander Ervin Santana (finger) threw 15 pitches off a mound on Tuesday in Fort Myers, Florida, the first time he threw off of a mound since undergoing finger surgery in February. This is a big step in the right direction for Santana as he works his way back to the big leagues. Manager Paul Molitor did tell reporters that Santana probably won't throw any sliders yet. Santana is trending toward a late-May or early-June activation if all continues to go smoothly.--Matt T - RotoBaller
