Erik Jones has not enjoyed the 2023 season for Legacy Motor Club. Jones and his Chevy begin Bristol from the 18th position on Sunday. Jones had several issues which dropped him to 24th last year after a ninth in 2021. He was faster in his heat on Saturday but still finished fourth. Lap times started tailing off after some solid sub 20-second times. Jones has one top-10 in Atlanta, two DNF's, and just an unimpressive season overall. The No. 43 Chevy led 14 laps at Phoenix but bright spots have been few and far between. The speed in his car and downforce have struggled in long runs all season. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
