Erik Jones has Place Differential Upside at Michigan
4 months agoDon't sleep on Erik Jones this weekend at Michigan International Speedway. Although the No. 43 Toyota has had disappointing race speed in most events this season, Jones is more than capable to ending up a solid DFS option in this weekend's FireKeepers Casino 400 thanks to the combination of his 28th-place starting spot and his palatable $6,700 salary on DraftKings. Michigan is Jones' home track, and he has been very solid here in the Next Gen era, walking away with top-10 finishes in both of those races. Jones also walked away with a 14th-place finish at Pocono this season, which is another high-horsepower track, and ran 14th at Las Vegas earlier this year, which is a somewhat comparable intermediate track. He also posted top-20 finishes at both Texas and Charlotte this season. Be sure to have a good amount of Erik Jones exposure when building your DFS lineups this weekend. For what it's worth, he was 12th-fastest in the limited practice session on Saturday.
