Minnesota Wild center Eric Staal added his 35th and 36th goals of the season on Tuesday as his team defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 6-2 at home. The 34-year-old forward's renaissance since signing in Minnesota two summers ago has served incredible value for his team and fantasy owners alike, as he now stands as a point-per-game player this season (67 points in 67 games). Staal's production is especially outstanding considering the fact that his average Yahoo! draft position was as high as 135.6 in fantasy leagues. Staal and the Wild will take off to Western Canada for a back-to-back set against the Canucks and Oilers on Friday and Saturday. He should obviously be a lock in all fantasy lineups moving forward.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
