The Kansas City Chiefs and offensive coordinator Eric Bienemy are expected to reach a new agreement in the coming weeks after Bienemy didn't land any of the open head-coaching positions around the league. There was outside interest in Bienemy as an offensive coordinator, but those who were exploring that possibility became aware that he would only leave KC for a head-coaching job. Bienemy wants to become a head coach, and sources close to him have wondered if he will look to the college ranks for that opportunity rather than wait for an NFL job. However, it looks like he'll sign a deal that will keep him as the offensive coordinator for one more season before he waits for the next head-coaching cycle.
