Emmanuel Sanders Less Effective In Recent Weeks
3 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders had a big role in the offense early in the season, but he's been less effective of late and hasn't been getting much separation from defenders. The veteran wideout has only six catches for 92 yards in the last three games combined and has been inconsistent as a blocker on the outside. Unless things change quickly, second-year receiver Gabriel Davis could become more involved to take pressure off Stefon Diggs. Davis has developed as a route-runner and is the team's best deep-ball threat right now. He played 52% of the offensive snaps, one of his highest numbers of the year, and caught three passes for 105 yards in the Week 10 win over the New York Jets. Davis certainly has more big-play upside than Sanders, and Sanders has become hard to trust as a WR4/flex in PPR leagues during his recent slump.
