Eloy Jimenez Still Sitting Out
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (calf) remains out of the starting lineup on Sunday against the Miami Marlins. Fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised in the slightest, as it was reported a few days ago that Jimenez was expected to miss at least a couple games after injuring his left calf on Thursday. The White Sox aren't going to push the oft-injured 26-year-old and make it worse, and there's still a chance he'll need an injured-list stint. Although he's never stolen a base in the big leagues, Jimenez has plenty of skills offensively after clubbing 31 home runs in his rookie season in 2019. He's currently batting .257 (35-for-136) with six doubles, six homers and 24 RBI in 35 games played. Clint Frazier is starting in right field and hitting leadoff on Sunday against Marlins left-hander Braxton Garrett.
