Elias Pettersson recorded two points in the Vancouver Canucks’ 4-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night. The speedy center now has four points in the past two games and is on pace to surpass his first-year totals in multiple categories including goals, points, hits, shots and power-play points. Offseason acquisition J.T. Miller added two points and now has three points in two games after being held off the score sheet for five contests. With 14 goals and 34 points in 37 games, he’s well on his way to posting career-highs in those categories. Goaltender Jacob Markstrom had another solid game for Vancouver by stopping 28 of 29 shots for his second win in a row. On the other side of the coin, Penguins goalie Matt Murray’s nightmare season continued with four goals allowed on just 14 shots. He’s posted save percentages below .900 in six straight games. Jake Guentzel scored the lone goal for Pittsburgh and has 37 points in 36 games.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
