Eli White Sidelined With Oblique Tightness
4 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Eli White (oblique) has been sidelined with left oblique tightness in summer camp and is scheduled to undergo an MRI exam. Oblique injuries can be tough to return from quickly, which could definitely hurt White's chances of making the Opening Day roster with just two weeks until the regular season begins. The 26-year-old spent all of 2019 at Triple-A Nashville, where he hit .253/.337/.418 with 14 home runs, 43 RBI, 63 runs and 14 stolen bases in 116 games. He can also play shortstop and second base, giving Texas some positional flexibility, but he can be ignored in fantasy leagues for now.
